William Gross began making trips to spend summers in Eldora with his family when he was only one year old in 1918. In these recordings (done in 1983 and 2008) he describes life in Eldora; childhood adventures there; transportation to Boulder and Eldora; and roads, buildings, and stores in Boulder during the 1920s and 1930s. At the end of the recording he discusses his port-secondary education, including undergraduate years at the University of Colorado, and some of the jobs he has held in the petroleum industry.
